Helping To Bridge The Qualification Gaps

XS Training Ltd are helping many experienced electricians gain qualifications that they didn’t have time to finish at college due to devoting all their time to the job.

If this is you, XS Training can work with you to gain the relevant qualifications to bridge those gaps.

As you will know, the trade is demanding more and more from practising electricians and up to date qualifications are at the forefront of requirements.

You may have completed all the relevant qualifications, but have gaps in your knowledge. Inspection and Testing is an area where early qualifications didn’t focus enough on the theory and skills in completing certification and meeting standards.

Wanting to provide a solution, XS Training created its new XS Training Academy to help you bridge those gaps. Within it we offer a wide and growing range of short courses, including the City & Guilds 2391-50, 51 and 52,

XS Training are a leading force in working with individuals to help them gain specific qualifications to support the ongoing changes in the electrical industry.

Examples of common scenarios we experience

If you have completed the 236 Part 1 at college 20 years ago but never completed the Part 2 – and have been working in the electrical industry since then – you could do the 2346-03 Experienced Worker Assessment on the pathway to gaining your JIB Gold Card.

You may have completed your 2330 level 2 but didn’t have time to complete your level 3 due to work commitments. With more than 5 years experience on-site you can access the 2346-03 Experienced Worker Assessment to eventually gain your JIB Gold Card.

You may have less than 5 years experience on site but have a level 2 and 3, 2365 technical certificate and never got round to completing the NVQ. XS training can help you gain this by doing the 2357 NVQ.

You will need to have access to the electrical trade to collect relevant onsite evidence to prove electrical competence.

Other common qualification gaps

If you are worried about passing the AM2, AM2S or AM2E then look no further. XS Training can help you with preparation for those assessments – AM2 Preparation Course.

You may have all the technical knowledge in relation to design but limited knowledge with the Inspection and Testing. If you have the 18th edition Regulation Certificate, the C&G 2391-50, 51 or 52 may be the course for you.

Whatever your requirements are, XS Training will support you to bridge gaps that are potentially holding you back in the industry. The most important aspect is that you are working in compliance and keeping up to current standards. This will keep you and others safe in a hectic working environment.

XS Training are the leading provider in online training which allows you to do all this whilst in the comfort of your own home on an evening.
